Tanda Tula Lodge Accommodation

Tanda Tula Lodge is known as one of the most luxurious tented camps in South Africa. Here you can relax in comfortable and exclusive surroundings, while reconnecting with nature.

Accommodation is in 12 Luxurious, thatched East African style tents, all of which overlook the perennial River. The tents are spacious and comfortable, and boast a Victorian bath, secluded outdoor shower, and private viewing deck.

Dining is an experience in terms of venue, and variety. You can enjoy private meals on the deck of your tent, lunches at the pool, dinners in the Boma (open-air traditional venue), and even the excitement of a bush breakfast.

The Lodge’s main areas include a thatched lounge, open–air dining areas, and curio shop. There is also a swimming pool to relax in, and around.

There are a number of daily activities, centred on game viewing – with two game drives in open vehicles, guided bush walks, and bird viewing hide visits, where you can enjoy a picnic breakfast or lunch.

Tanda Tula is also involved in an Elephant Research Project, which offers guests the opportunity of gaining first-hand knowledge of this magnificent animal.

You might also choose to relax at the Lodge, and indulge in a massage at the water hole, or in the comfort of your tent.

Children of 12 years and older are welcome at the Lodge.
